Iodine tablets

Are you under 40 years old, pregnant, breastfeeding, or have children living at home?
The Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) recommends that you keep iodine tablets at home.

The tablets can provide protection against radioactive iodine in the event of a nuclear accident. Iodine tablets should only be taken following advice from the authorities. You can buy iodine tablets without a prescription at the pharmacy.
